Any bartenders around?
Any bartenders around?
Anyone with a history of making mixed drinks? My wife and I were out bowling with a group of friends this past weekend, and the bartender there gave my wife a couple shots on the house -- the thing is, the shots tasted exactly like a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. I haven't found much on the interwebs about this amazing phenomenon of a drink, curious if any of you know how to make this or can point me in the right direction.
Cheers!
Cheers!

We normally don't drink piss unless someone pays us a lot, but that's about it.

Does the quote" gimme a beer i'm nervous!" make sense here? I think so.

If warm beer refers to beer above sub-zero temperatures, beer you can actually taste ......scottsdale_joe wrote:No, we won't drink warm beer.Bobby_Manc wrote:Good God![]()

Beer frozen so cold you can't actually taste that it's crap

Warm beer is not pleasing to drink. SImple as that. (neither is warm water, warm milk, or warm coke)Bobby_Manc wrote:If warm beer refers to beer above sub-zero temperatures, beer you can actually taste ......scottsdale_joe wrote:No, we won't drink warm beer.Bobby_Manc wrote:Good God![]()

Unfortunately most American beer also sucks - warm or cold.
Good beer served cold is wonderful.
For American beer that pretty much means Anchor Steam or Sam Adams or local micro brews.
My favorite beers are in Australia (Where they serve it nice and cold, especially in Sydney) and Speight's beer in New Zealand.
And I love Guinness (extra cold, which isn't extra cold by American standards, but cold enough). Harp Lager is good too and is what I keep in the fridge here.
