Sorry, not confirmed yet. I thought we were discussing SP Cleo Blanco. It's my mistake for not making sure since I should know I have two Blancos on my pitching staff. I've reached out to Blake and will post again if confirmed.

Updated. Sorry about the confusion. Felipe Blanco wasn't on the trade block list so I can understand the confusion. Thank you Carolina.

Confirmed. Thanks, Blake!

Stephan will take Felipe's spot on the Active Roster and slide him in the empty slot in my rotation please.
Herrero will also go on the 27-man starting at SS and batting 8th against LHP and RHP (I moved Stephen Griffin down to AAA).

Thanks!

If Blanco can get that control up just a smidge he'd be one hell of a closer. High GB%, good Intel and Ethic, etc.

Not a bad pickup though for Blanco. Can help fill some holes and Stephen can actually play right now as well.

Yeah, not exactly the way I intended to go about it. I have a feeling I'll regret this one, but fair is fair...I just appreciate Blake letting me rearrange the deal at the last minute. If Stephen Griffin is not going to get off his ass and play up to his offensive ratings then he can take his -1.2 ZR to AAA. He can call me when he gets sick of bus rides and cramped hotel rooms.

Oh, btw, anyone need a shortstop with great potential?

Yeah I'm hoping the walks will come down. Right now his numbers aren't spectacular but I think he can improve on his control.

Herrero is a unique player. I traded Randy Square and a good pitching prospect to get him. He can hit .260/.340 with some doubles power and hes above average vs. lefties. Plus he has the elite speed and defense. Now that hes playing regularly his ratings will start to move a little. The defense alone will improve Carolina I think.

Aliff is a total tragedy, of course...former top 50 prospect who just simply curled up into a ball and died.

This is the kind of trade which just shows how hard it is to find a starting shortstop in the MBBA.
