Brooklyn confirms. Sorry I didn't get here in time for the sim.

Medrano is in his walk year. We aren't going to contend, I wasn't going to give him another 3 years $8-11 mil as he approaches mid 30's. He'd probably be a type A/B but you rarely get those picks anyway. So I took a 19 year old useful piece and the salary relief. I can reinvest the $8.5 mil on a free agent and hope to flip them at the deadline.
