That is what the spot starter slot is for. Just toss your LR in there and set him at 0% (so he doesn't steal games from your 5th starter) and he should sub in for injured starters mid-sim. It has worked for me in the past. If you're suggesting that the simmer stop the sim after an injury occurs (which, in my experience, is actually impossible) so that he can bring a AAA starter up to the majors to start in place of an injured guy then I'd tell you that (particuliarly with 27 man rosters in this league) you probably should have been prepared and had your #6 starter on your ML roster (and in the spot starter slot) already.
