Well, Reyes reached 400. But now his batting (and defensive) prowess has fallen off steeply. He hit 6 homers in limited play for Madison last year. Now he is a 39-year-old free agent 31 short of 500 homers. I have been tempted to sign him. But I dunno if he'd hit 31 homers, even in two years. Sadly.

that's a lotta homers, yikes. Hope he sticks around to make it to 500. I think his head has grown wider by quite a bit... not sure how that's possible but..
