If anything, even moreso. Teams will now have time to evaluate what worked and what did not, and act accordingly. No such chance after the traditional deadline.

I'd guess we won't see 24 deals at the deadline, but I think it likely that we'll see a bit of a dust up of activity.

Nobody's offered me a single deal - I had to go out and ask. Weird, since I am all hitting and no pitching and an obvious choice to offer pitching to, but who knows anything?
