Redraft #1 pick
If we restarted the league and you had #1 pick, which player would you begin your franchise with, assuming current age, contract, and options?

Re: Redraft #1 pick
Thought about including him, but nobody would realistically take him. If they want him they can select Gallehos. Also, I forgot to include the "Other" option.

Nobody is allowed to trade with me so I can't unload my other outfielders who are out of options.

Re: Redraft #1 pick
You’ve missed the #donttradewithnashville movement. There’s a theory of teams stop trading with me all my players will wither and die, leaving an opening for another team to swoop in. It hasn’t been very successful yet.

Hey, I drafted two of these guys. Why don't I still have them?

Re: Redraft #1 pick
I'd be curious where top prospects and some GBC players would land on this list. I think Blair Peyton, Riyadi Subandrio, Harry Bransington and some other prospects would have a shot to be picked top ten.

Re: Redraft #1 pick
Teams still trade with Nashville, so...
Anyway, I assume this thought experiment means they are all who they were when they were 20ish.

Oh no I took it as ignore their contract situation but you’re getting them at their current age, ratings, injury proneness, etc.

Cruz would make the team good every five days. Bayou helps the pitchers and plays every day.

can’t tell if this is about Cruz’s turn in the rotation or Madison’s win frequency…
