Yeah, I have to admit I did not expect this much production from Fradesso

You know what? Run-ming Zhu and Manuel Torres were spurious nuisance votes, too. You may remove them from the team @recte44 .

As Manager of the JL all stars, if this is something that Phoenix insists on, we will call up Richard Lawrence from Mexico City and Michael Little from Calgary as replacements.

Once you’ve become a General Manager, there are several essential responsibilities involved in active participation in The Brewster:

Participate in BBA Community
This is very clearly actively NOT participating in the BBA community. This is essentially taking your ball and going home. I would like to suggest that such behavior reflects EXTREMELY poorly on the league and that a punishment should be issued. That can be decided by @recte44 of course, but I would suggest that the choice come from either a 30 day suspension of the players involved, a loss of a draft pick for two seasons at whatever level is deemed appropriate since it is 2 infractions, I would suggest a 5th would be fair, or a fine, where I would suggest $10 million per infraction.

I honestly can't tell if this is real or joking.

I think there's a bit of misdirection going on all around here. :) :) :)

Big breaths, gents. Sean's tradition of voting Phoenix all around is a long-standing one. Let's just have some fun. :)

Okay well, if yall are cool w/ him acting like a 9 year old, fine by me, I'll go back to just focusing on running the pitching, keeping my mouth shut and winning. Just seems like a pretty poor precedent to set.

I think poor precedent is using your fourth post on the forums to call someone out for participating in the community. GMs can vote for whomever they like. There’s no requirement to vote for most deserving player. I decided to put Thum on the FL team. You decided to leave off the top vote getter for RP. No reason to get upset.

We're all here to have fun and Phoenix has fun voting homer for the ASG :)

Maybe this is a good thing to write an article about?

Longtimers have gotten so familiar with the Phoenix AS-voting method over the decades that it's just a thing. But I can see how it can be ... interpreted.

But, in the words of Vic. This is one where I hope we can just shake hands, be cool, and have fun. It's All-Star Weekend, after all. And both Manuel Torres and Doug Eckhoff are here only a season after being cast off the atoll as losers, eh? How much better can it get?

I'm not sure why there was an attack on Phoenix for how they voted. Phoenix's votes must not have been so off the rocker because other folks voted for his fellas as well. If they feel that their players are All Stars great others felt the same. I guess my vote for Tyler at 2B is spurious as well. That said both players Montreal selected for the All Star Game should be on the roster as each team should be represented and if they feel those two Talons belong send them to the game. It might be the only one they make or it might be the start of a long reign as the Johnson League Representative.

It's a game folks don't get angry. Just enjoy it. You've got to remember others are going to put more or less time into the game than you do and some will inflate their players value more than others see the players value. It happens. Relax have fun and enjoy.

Can you imagine if the JL lets Marko make it to the finals?! Can’t wait to see the ASG lineups he puts out the following year. It’s a fun treat for winning the pennant.

BTW guys, once the All-Star Rosters are set, that's what they are. There's no editing.
