Felix Parreno went 2/5 in a 7-6 loss to the Yellow Springs Nine. The loss was the third of the sweep. When the players left the clubhouse and were expected to talk to the media, Parreno was nowhere to be found. When manager Mel Jenkins was asked where he was and if he would be available for comment, he responded with, "We don't know where he is."
According to sources, Parreno left on a private flight even while other players hit the showers. Apparently, he left to attend the surgery of a family member, which is often typical of players. But Parreno was not given permission nor did he even tell his fellow teammates or coaches. The team was forced to release him.
The two parties are expected to be reunited shortly, but we will keep an eye on this bazaar story.

Re: Felix Parreno and the Long Road Back
Maybe it was one of those mental health absences!
