August 12
San Antonio 14 - Edmonton 0
It's a 4 FUBAR day here on August 12th, kicking off with a 2 touchdown win for the Outlaws. Tony Gustafsen had a 4-5 game which included a pair of homeruns, 3 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in. Rookie catcher Jesus Garcia hit his first homerun of the season as well in the contest. Lucio Cuellar capped off the evening for the Outlaws with a double and 3 singles, scoring twice, and driving in 4. Ryosei Akahori was roughed up in the start, falling to 6-5 on the season after allowing 7 runs on 8 hits in 2.2 innings pitched.
Phoenix 11 - Boise 1
Isekenmeir and Meyer (sounds like a law firm for the future) each went 3-5 for the Talons in the FUBAR victory. The former scored a run and drove in 1 while the latter scored twice and drove in a run. Jose Colon hit his 27th homerun of the season in the 8th inning while Angel De Castillo homered in the 2nd inning off of Robin Cooper who allowed 6 runs on 8 hits and a walk over 2.2 innings pitched. Cooper fell to 4-8 on the season with the loss.
Valencia 12 - Portland 0
Crap! The Stars dominated this game in every fashion but it took 3 runs in the 9th inning to make this a FUBAR victory for Valencia. Pedro Salazar went 3-5 in the game and homered in the first inning. He scored two runs and drove in 3. Pagan, Love, and Rolo (good candy) each had a pair of hits for the Stars who outhit Portland 13 to 2 in the win. Marcelo Polar allowed the 3 runs in the 9th but was hurt by a Nikita Schipper error as 2 of the runs were unearned.
Hawaii 16 - Vancouver 1
If the Pacific could take some of these wins against the Heartland, and not against their own division, it would be nice! Doeke Soethout went 3-4 in the contest for the Tropics, hitting his 24th and 25th homeruns in the process. Soethout scored 4 runs on the evening and drove in 5. Jack Nichols homered as well, going 2-5 on the evening with a pair of runs scored and 4 driven in. Angel Romero's ERA spiked to 7.30 after the game after allowing 5 runs on 6 hits and a walk after 3.1 innings of work. Jose Ramirez coughed up 6 runs on 3 hits and 3 walks on 2.2 innings of work. Hawaii's win leaves only Charlotte, Jacksonville, and Long Beach as the only winless teams in this feature!

Chicago 15 - Long Beach 0
Seeing their league worst record come into jeopardy, Long Beach closes out the sim in style with another FUBAR loss, falling to 0-11 on the season. Chicago scored 10 runs in the 5th inning to spur the charge, highlighted by one of two Rocky Wattson homeruns in the game. In the 5th, Wattson hit a 2-run shot. It was followed by a 3-run blast an inning later, giving Rocky 6 RBI in the game. He was joined by Jose Figueroa with 3 hits in the ballgame. Danya was roughed up in the loss, allowing 8 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks in 4.2 innings pitched. But it was Patrick Patchett that was really roughed up as he allowed 6 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks over the course of just 0.2 innings pitched.
