High-A Plant City Suns
Home of Bob Blaisdell, Ray Anthony, and a wasteland of too olds and never-weres. No one else is worth even a short mention.
Top prospect:
Bob Blaisdell
Blaisdell has had fantastic numbers for two seasons, but a quick look says why: he was way, way too advanced for the level and even moreso in the Spike Nolan League. His stuff is fine, but he's got a long way to harness all of it. He's ready for AA and the team should look at him there next year.
Only other guy:
Ray Anthony
Anthony is young and raw, but he has marginal promise as a utility man. He'll probably never be anything but a slap hitter, but was young for the level (just 20) and has good intangibles. He'll need to repeat A-ball next year, but if he hits he should move up.
