I do not support. If the player you like didn't get voted in then so be it. I honestly think you should only be eligible for one year. If you're not good enough then you won't be good enough next year. And before you say "what about bloated classes like this one?!?!" I will say look at all the votes stolen by members who should've been off the polls years ago. Except de' Medici. Ya'll crazy for that one.

But if you have players outside the Hall who are obviously significantly better than a number of players inside, what does a Hall of Fame even mean? The real-world HOF had this problem around 1950, when the ballot was severely bloated and guys like Mel Ott, Jimmie Foxx and Bill Terry were getting passed over. They eventually created the Veterans Committee, which selected six players in 1953 and broke the logjam.

We have had many ways of voting in the past. None are perfect. The advantage of today's process is that StatsPlus manages the admin...I think.

If a veteran's committee was established, I feel that "less is more". Perhaps a maximum of one player enshrined per year, and the committee could only operate every other calendar year or perhaps once every three years. Keep the veteran's committee enshrinement rare and memorable.
