Make overall ratings/potential apply to position

Ok, I submit this as an official suggestion: I think overall ratings/potential would be much more useful if they were compared to other players at that position rather than MBBA as a whole. We don't have scouts and since the information is provided (the stars) might as well make it as useful as possible, IMO.

Open to debate. This isn't a major change, just a cosmetic one, so unless I hear significant opposition I'll just do this.

I whole heartedly agree to making ratings per-position, rather than per-league. Nothing like having someone glance at the stars rating and have it be a 1.5 or something, when he's really a 4-star guy. Now, should you look more into it than the stars...absolutely, but for super quick reference, this would be great.

Well, ultimately I don't put too much stock in the stars...even if we had scouts that would still be true. I've played enough local to realize they have near nothing to do with future performance. But, like you said, they are useful for a quick glance at the value of a player...especially when doing a quick "sniff test" on a proposed trade.

i agree with the proposed change. Doesn't make much sense comparing players outside of their position anyway.
