Sympathy really lol. I haven't been in a OOTP league in 10 years at least. But I have ample free time and looking to become more involved in league again. I'm older (55) and have been playing OOTP for a long time but never really in any great detail with contracts, salaries and so forth. A tad concerned about that, but figured I could get it down over time.

The league (and OOTP's GM/financial structure) can be a little overwhelming, but if you spend a little time with it everything comes together. More importantly, we have a LOT of veterans here, and we encourage a lot of question asking. We're all happy to help. Except for Chad--who is ecstatic to help, for a price! (Did I mention to never trade with Nashville? I kid, I kid.)

Thank you, finally did get in lol.

Little information of me:

I am 55 years old and served our country for 22 years as a soldier (Infantryman) and another 9 as a civilian (Supply and Equip for the VA). Served in 4 combat tours during those time frames. I am medically retired now and have free time. I am married and live in the country now. Very peaceful and lots of space. However, I miss human contact, if you can believe that lol. I love dogs, always have 2.

I played OOTP league back in the 2000s-2010s. Have only played offline since then. I would not say I am very good at it, but I love the groups and honestly not in this to win it all. I am in this because of the people. I am in this for the stories, the history and the future friendships. I've learned some things about people over the years. People aren't that bad, you know if you give them a chance. I look forward to learning alot, and growing with the league and members.
