One thing I look for in the off-season is my top talent and where they would play the best taking into acct history, age, exp, etc. and placing them at the right level. But is there any benefit or impact based on where you place a player during the offseason? Say I park a guy at AAA that, if it were the regular season, would firmly go to A-ball. In fact, he may have just spent the season in A ball so AAA is a higher lvl than he’s ever played.
