Draft Pool/custom ammys

Post by 7teen » Tue Dec 20, 2011 10:58 am

I see the draft pool links on the main HTML league page. When browsing through the names, I only see a handful of the custom ammys.

Recte, is this the draft pool? I only ask because I don't see any of the 3 or 4 guys I created.

I think in-game, at least, you can search for the created players using the search box in upper right hand corner. I already found your Boyd 'Two Step' Beauford.

Edit: Your Barnabus "Swarley" Stinson is also in-game.

OK, it must not be updated in the HTML.

Most of them are in the High School or College Conferences. You might not see them in the draft pool for several seasons. Gives you another reason to watch the HHAS and CCAS.

For example:

Brouthers 5-6 Against Verizon
Tuesday, December 17th, 2002: Alfred Brouthers put on a hitting clinic today as the Inkers dumped the Networks 26-14 at Ballpark of Fort Wayne HS. The Hewlett Packard left fielder sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Verizon pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game.

He told BNN reporters after the game that he just hit it where they pitched it. "Too often I try to pull the ball too much. Today I just went with the pitch."

Alfred Brouthers hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run double in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th.

Thus far this year Brouthers is batting .294 with 2 home runs, 18 RBIs and 14 runs scored.

That's cool. I like that. Now they'll show up in the future in the pool I suppose.
