The only criticism you received was to make a list. You complained you got auto’d due to the 30 minute third round clock expiring as you were commuting into work at 4:52 PM, which is the same time 9-5ers are commuting home. If anything, it was easier for you to make a list before work than for a 9-5er who is at work. So it never made any sense.jiminyhopkins wrote: ↑Sat May 31, 2025 6:06 pmGet used to it brother. I got excoriated last season because I don't work a 9-5 job like everyone else.

Re: This Draft and Comp Picks
I admit I still can't understand why most teams wouldn't sign their picks, but I'm weird. I don't think there are any players in the first round I wouldn't be happy to have in the BIK organization. I can certainly see not signing a guy who you got auto'ed and asks for a gazillion dollars. It happens. Shrug.
That said, as Matt said, you already can't float draft picks forever. You either sign the comp or you don't get a player. To Aaron-JAX's point, I suppose you can keep floating your current pick, but sign always sign the comp. I'm not sure the real value of that, since it simply means you're always one top draft pick down.
