Yes. We're have a mid off causes going on, and I have no real way to apportion the effect between them right now.

LOL! Every single season just like clockwork this happens:

1) I unveil draft class.
2) SKY IS FALLING in one of two ways
- OH NO! THESE GUYS ARE WAY TOO GOOD! LEAGUE IS SCREWED FOREVER!!!!!
.....or.....
- OH NO! THESE GUYS SUCK! LEAGUE IS SCREWED FOREVER!!!!!

3) Ye Old Commish looks back on league that has been going for nearly 70 years, sees angry mob, shrugs his shoulders and moves on with life.

From now on I'll just post the above when I unveil every draft class. :)

I think what recte is saying is that after 70 seasons this is the draft class that is going to break our beloved league. I'm so sorry to break the news guys.

And every season, like clockwork, the draft is released and one of two things happen:

I think:

1. Ohhhhh this is a deep class. Plenty of talent. This league is fun

2. Ewwwwe this draft class sucks ass. No talent. My team can’t get better. This league is fun.

Moral of the story, the league is fun for me either way. Go Lumberjacks!!

Who is the one to draft Ichchaam Chepchumba? That can make for a good TN or two.

And just for this draft class, since I am selecting #1, I think - Are you effing kidding me? 65 is the highest rated player? It figures.

I'm pretty sure I remember conversation of some bad draft classes in the 20's before the first expansion. Sucks for the top drafters but it is what it is. Ebbs and flows, people.

nobody should have been on auto yet because the clock didnt start until tomorrow afternoon. There is usually a bit of a window ahead of the formal clock starting where teams can pick at their leisure.

I gotta reach out to Dave (Stats+) to see if the auto pick thing can auto reset when you start a new draft. Right now it doesnt

Would have taken Mike Jayne if he wasn't "impossible" to sign. Avila seemed the most developed out of the rest of the pitchers so I'm confident he can live up to his potential.

I think High Schoolers who don't sign should not become eligible until they are college juniors.
That's never happened in the past. Guys in HS always came back the next year (except when that error caused some of them to be released to free agency in the offseason)
