Recte has been kind enough to add a link to the generator at the top of the forum.

Some things to note:

Do not compose your writing in the web app

Compose your writing in Word, Notepad, or other word processing, then copy/paste into the link generator

Please report any bugs that you find in this thread, and feel free to request feature additions

Kewl!!! lol - I didn’t know I could do that. I wrote my TN then entered in the players into the link gen and then put them in my doc.

I will try it in Word first.

One issue I had with copy pasting my post in the forum is that the program made all my words lower case. Hopefully this just disappears when i do it through Word

I've taken to typing the names of players I reference into the link generator, then just pasting those into the document.

For some reason the web app seems really buggy. I'm going to release the final version of the windows app, and I will recommend using that.

yes, not sure what the best timing will be, but probably around opening day

I worked out some bugs in the link generator that were discovered as you guys used it. Big thanks to those who reported bugs.

Still haven't been able to resolve an issue where it can be accessed via the IP but not the url. If we have any webmasters in the league maybe reach out and help me troubleshoot.

I haven't updated the player list since last year, I will do so after the bulk of the 2061 draftees have signed. Still working on a way to have the app pull the real-time player info.

Successfully transferred the app to my brand new home server. The only catch is that if my ISP changes my IP address, there will be downtime while I go in and modify. But this should work very well going forward. Expect an update to the excel file soon, and I'm going to continue trying to find a way to scrape from the HTML pages so that the names/links are "live"

I'm leaving the link to the 3rd party hosting up, and it will work until that subscription expires.

curious, how would you like to see nicknames implemented?

by that i mean, do you want to have the app add the nickname for the player? Or, you want to type in a name with a nickname and have it link it? Or you just want to type in a nickname and have it find the player? Or, all of the above?
