GM Change, Des Moines Kernels

Post by recte44 » Wed Jun 29, 2011 7:16 pm

Man....it's tough to see Lynchy go. Honestly, I am still in denial that he's not going to be with us anymore.

Big shoes to fill....luckily I found a fella from the OOTP Forums who seems to truly understand what a GM needs to bring to the table in an online writing league. Blake Camden (Blake) is the new GM of the Des Moines Kernels.

Welcome to the league, Blake. We're very very excited to have you on board.

Why did Lynchy leave?

Anyway, welcome Blake.
Good luck in the MBBA.

Looks that way. I'm still in it. Hopefully with the changes I make I can get above .500. I usually take a dip at first but then once I tinker with everything I start to improve.

I think Matt posted that he was in two leagues and couldn't do both anymore.

Hi, welcome!

That sounded like a greeting at Johnny Rocket's...

It had gotten to the point where I couldn't commit to two writing leagues anymore with so much going on in my personal life (work, baby, house on the market, etc.). The writing was on the wall when I tried to write my preview about 11 different times and just couldn't do it. I wish you guys all the best.

There you are!! Would you please tell these goobers that we worked out a deal where I get Eddie Harris for a case of Ham and Cheese Hot Pockets? I keep trying to tell them.

Seriously, good luck with everything!!
