Moscow 7 - London 4 The Thunder Bears leave London on a high note, taking the final game in the series against the World Champion Monarchs, and now lead the season series by 5 games to 4. London is in a transitional period as they change GMs, but they garnered little sympathy from the Moscow Nine.

Yoshimi Soto continues to pitch way above his talent level as he wins his sixth game of the year, improving his record to 6-3. His six-pitch repertoire, particularly his potent slider-fastball combination, bewilders opposing hitters at times. He currently has a 4.23 ERA and 70 Ks and always seems to find a way to pitch well in big games. He scattered 8 hits over 5 2/3 innings and did enough to get the win.
Newly acquired Closer Derry Vacher picked up his 7th save of the season.
The news wasn't all good as Moscow went on to lose the next 3 of 5 games, including dropping two to the division-leading Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers, who lead the Tokyo Pearls by 5 games. Jerusalem continues to dominate Moscow and now lead the season series 6-3. The Thunder Bears are 14 games back and currently in last place in the GBC Eurasia Division. With July rapidly approaching, Moscow needs to string together a few good sims to get back in the race.
"Look, there are a lot of games left to play and the division race is far from over. We just need to hit our stride and play more consistent baseball going forward and I think we have the group of men to do just that" remarked Moscow GM Brandon Tucker

When asked why he was wearing a Tokyo Pearls hat in his official team photo, he stated the picture was taken on April 2nd in Tokyo after opening day and that all he remembers from the night before was drinking sake in a karaoke bar until 4am and singing K-Pop.
