
Moscow wins Eurasia Division Title!
Moscow, Russia: After finishing dead last in their inaugural season, the Moscow Thunder Bears have gone from worst to first and claimed it's first division crown in only their second season as an organization. "Truly an amazing feat" said manager Brencis Deshevsky
Moscow was able to clinch at home in the Bears Den in front of 35,000 fans.
Led by SP EwungaGoiba Ghera, the Bears defeated their division rival Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers 4-2.
It was Ghera's 11th win on the season and the 37th save for Samuel Vankrimpen, which leads the GBC.
In other news, Moscow gets star 3B Ryobe Watanabe back from the injured list just in time for the playoffs. This will move Maximilian Nielsson back to the DH role he has thrived in all season. When asked who they would prefer to play in the playoffs, manager Brencis Deshevsky said that it did not matter and that they are just glad to have a chance to play in their first playoff series.
GM Brandon Tucker said he will celebrate this division title with the team, but there is still work to be done. He stated that the end goal is to bring the Grand Slam Cup by Denny's, Marko, and Subaru to the city of Moscow.
