Following a win against Sau Paulo, Cairo pulled off a 3 game sweep against GBC leaders Athens before losing two in a row to Tokyo to end the week 1 game back from the Figthing Centaurs in the standings. Grigore Balas earned his first win in over a month in the series opener against Athens. He is now 4-4 on the season.
Santiago Duran had an outstanding week, hitting 3 home runs and driving in 10. He leads the team in both categories with 19 HR and 65 RBI. Reliever Satyajit Neel has been a reliable option out of the pen this year, with a 2.54 ERA in 25 appearances. He earned his 3rd and 4th wins if the season this week with 4.2 quality innings.
