Well the Brisas are back to their 1- or 2-win Sims going 2-4 in Sim #6. They were on the road for all 6 games, but still. The team does avoid getting swept as it has only happened once this year. The offense needs an overhaul as it's leaving too much work for the bullpen - a bullpen that has begun to put up some concerning numbers.

@ Jerusalem 1-5 L
@ Jerusalem 5-6 L
@ Jerusalem 3-1 W

The Brisas managed to make the final scores look close but the pitching staff is still trying to get help from the offense. In the first game, Bani Marita surrendered 4 runs and 8 hits. He didn't walk anyone, so he's got that going for him. The middle contest was some early back and forth affair and eventually that made the hometown Hammers fans delight. We're going to need a team batters-only team meeting soon. The team did post 3 runs in the 5th, but that was after the Hammers had their outburst scoring 5 runs in the first 3 innings. Another close game in the finale. Starter P Deron Alexander only allowed 5 hits and 1 run in 5 innings. CL You-cheng Hang came on for the save, struck out the side, and the Brisas avoided the sweep.

@ Sao Paulo 7-8(10) L
@ Sao Paulo 1-5 L
@ Sao Paulo 11-8 W

Oh, boy. The first inning of the opener of a 3-game set vs Sao Paulo saw Jerusalem grab a lead of 6-2 going into the bottom of the 8th. The Pilots scored 1 in the 8th then 4 in the 9th to tie the game and go to extra innings. In the bottom of the 10th, Sao Paulo's RF Lance Tautor connected on a walkoff solo home run. SP Marvin 'Groucho' Winston pitched well enough to win this game, but the offense came up lame yet again. The Pilot's SP Abdul-Muhaimin Saleem allowed only 1 run thru the 7th inning. And the Brisas avoid being swept yet again. Sao Paulo scored 5 runs in the 1st inning and this game felt like it was all over. That is, until the Brisas put up 4 in the 6th and another 5 in the 8th. The Pilots were again shut down by CL You-Cheng Hang who notched his 4th save in 6 games.
