The Flyers have had a very inconsistent June. After starting 6-2 in the first 8 games of the month, they lost 5 in a row, including 2 at home against Phoenix and 3 in Mexico City. Charlotte then seemed to right the ship, winning 7 of their next 8 against Boise and Austin. However, after the Shredders won the series finale, the Flyers also got swept at home to complete their second 5 game losing streak of the month.
The offense has been solid, currently sitting second in the league in runs scored and first in most offensive categories. The bullpen has been excellent, as they currently have the 2nd best ERA in the Johnson League at 3.07. The starting pitching has struggled. They have fallen from being one of the top 5 ERA's in the Johnson to being ranked 11 at 4.62. One of the pitchers who has struggled the most has been offseason acquisition Logan Hill. He had an ERA of 2.25 after his start on May 18. Since that time, he is 2-5 with a 10.30 ERA, bringing his season mark to 8-5, 5.44.
The team acquired young starter Larry Jensen from Cobble Hill a couple of weeks ago to help deal with the issue. His first 2 starts with the club but he struggled in his third start, a game against Las Vegas.

I think once the new guys get used to you, you should get closer to to your Pythag record. Though something tells me that if this continues you might be getting some calls about certain players.
