2063.11 June Swoon?

Things started well enough. Coming off of a 20-9 May, the Flyers won 7 of their first 9 games in the month of June. Then came a 5 game losing streak and the team is currently just 9-9 this month.

Short term injuries to Bob Anderson, Antonio Santiago, and Buwono Mainaky and an incredibly rough stretch by Logan Hill have a fair amount to do with the slide, but inconsistency from Ignacio Lewis and Felipe Cummings haven't helped either.

The offense is still doing well and the bullpen, despite a couple of rough outings, has actually improved and now has the second best ERA in the JL. Losing 3 of 4 to 7th place Mexico City doesn't feel good for a fan base hoping to see their team battle for a second consecutive Atlantic Division title.

The team is only 3-5 in one run games this month, with recent losses being picked up by major bullpen contributors Eduardo Moreno and Mike Emrick.

Following the 5 game losing streak, Charlotte has won 2 of 3 but their starting pitching woes are beginning to show cause for concern. The defense has also been somewhat inconsistent, racking up 7 errors in the first 3 games of the losing streak.

The Flyers will need Hill to get back to pitching well but may also look outside the organization to help solve the situation.
