The Flyers played 3 important games this week against the New Orleans Crawdads, with the opportunity to clinch their first division title since 2047.

Game 1: The Crawdads jumped in front early with a run in the second and 3 more in the third. The Flyers battled back, scoring a run in the fifth on an RBI single by Jorge Trujillo, another in the sixth on a Jose Bedreddin home run, and another in the ninth on a leadoff home run by Ben Graybill. Onan Ogun followed Graybill's blast with a double down the first base line, Ogun advanced to third with 2 out before a strikeout ended the game with New Orleans in front 4-3. Charm City won their game in Jacksonville and Montreal won their game at home against Atlantic City to create a 3 way tie atop the division with just 2 games to go.

Game 2: Arturo Trevino pitched a great game, allowing just 1 run on 3 hits and 3 walks in 6 innings. Jose Bedreddin crushed a home run in the top of the first for a 1 run lead but New Orleans tied it in the bottom of the inning. Lawrence Stewart put the Flyers back on top with a 2 run home run in the top of the fourth. The score remained 3-1 until Adib bin Nasser tied it with a 2 run shot off of Luuis Perez in the bottom of the eighth. Bedreddin clubbed his second home run of the game in the top of the ninth, driving in 2, and Josh Dougherty pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his 43rd save of the season. Charlotte came away with a 5-3 victory. Montreal got crushed by Atlantic City and Charm City hung on to win a close game in Jacksonville. The Flyers and Jimmies were tied for first with the Blazers 1 game back.

Game 3: The Flyers scored 5 runs on 5 hits in the top of the first inning and added on more in the fourth. Ignacio Lewis threw 6 strong innings, allowing just 2 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks for his 13th win of the year. The Crawdads did score 3 runs, but never really threatened in this one as Dougherty pitched a clean ninth for his 44th save in the Flyers 97th win of the campaign. Montreal lost again to the Gamblers, finishing 2 games behind Charlotte in the Atlantic and Charm City blew a 4-2 lead late and lost in extra innings to fall to second place in the division.

Now the Flyers get a bye during the Geohegan Round before facing the winner of the Montreal series against Cape Fear.
