The Elkins Buzzards finished the season with a record of 29-39, tied for 3rd place in the Cowboy Division, 9 games behind the division winner. This was 8 games worse than the 2061 season. The Buzzards scored the 12th most runs in the league and allowed the 10th most runs.

POSITION PLAYER OF THE YEAR:

Last year's recipient was Aaron Winkler, who was traded away before the start of the 2062 campaign.

The 2062 winner is 2B Kutsi Abas. The team's top prospect showed improvement at the plate while still working to develop his defensive skills. Abas slashed .273/.330/.437, with a team high 7 home runs and 31 RBI. He was also named to the All-Star Futures Team.


PITCHER OF THE YEAR:

Last year's recipient was LHSP Juan Hernandez, who pitched well again this year, splitting time between Sdirondack and Danville.

The 2062 winner is LHRP Kelly Chase, the team's 7th round pick this year. Chase appeared in 22 games, all in relief. He ended this year with a record of 2-1, with 1 save, and an ERA of 1.84. He also had an impressive FIP- of 58 on the year.
