The Flyers extended their lead in the Atlantic with another strong week of play.

Charlotte dominated Rocky Mountain 14-2 on Monday as Jacquot Natta pitched 6 scoreless innings of 1 hit ball and Domingo Chavez, Jorge Trujillo, and Paul Long each homered. Trujillo's home run was a grand slam.

Ignacio Lewis allowed one unearned run while Trujillo and Lawrence Stewart hindered in a 4-1 Flyers win on Tuesday.

Despite home runs by Bandit Natta and Ben Graybill, the Oysters jumped all over Arturo Trevino in a 9-3 game as Rocky Mountain avoided the sweep on Wednesday.

Brody Picot was much better than n his Charlotte debut as the Flyers won the opener in Mexico City 7-4 on Thursday. Chavez homered again in this one.

Friday was an 8-4 win for Charlotte as Chavez and Stewart each went deep and Buwono Mainaky didn't allow an earned run in 7 innings.

Charlotte secured the series win with a 5-0 victory on Saturday as Bandit showed off his skills, hitting a double and a home run while pitching 6 scoreless innings.

The Aztecs avoided the sweep on Monday as Mexico City tagged Lewis for 5 runs, 4 earned, in 5 innings for an 8-3 win.

Domingo Chavez was honored as the Johnson League Rookie of the Month and Player of the Month for June.

Final All-Star rosters have not been announced but several Charlotte players will make the team. Likely starters are Domingo Chavez, Jose Bedreddin, and Buwono Mainaky, with Josh Dougherty looking like the top choice at relief pitcher. Time will tell if any other players are added to the team.
