Ron Mosley dialed the number and waited for an answer.

Onan Ogun put down his drink and answered the phone. "Hello?"

"Hi Onan, it's Ron Mosley again. We have finished our investigation into your birth certificate and other documents."

"Oh yeah? So what did you find out? Am I actually just a kid? Ha!"

"Well, it turns out, you're exactly how old you thought you were. You are a 26 year old man...and a good ball player."

"You know, Mr. Mosley, I was feeling kind of excited about the unknown but now that I have some certainty,,,I guess I'm feeling pretty good about finding out I am who I always thought I was. I actually thought you were going to call me back and say I was 24 but my name was actually Tom or something like that."

"Ha! No. There's definitely not anything that dramatic going on here. Look, we want to send you to the development lab. We like you and think you have a lot to offer our organization. Were thinking about either sending you to get some work on your defense or maybe getting you some work on your eye at the plate. Do you have a preference?"

"Hmm...well, I think both of those sound good and I appreciate that you guys are willing to consider letting me take up one of the spots in your training facility. I think...maybe we go with defense. I feel like I do pretty well, but I'd like to work on my first step a bit, and...maybe strengthening my arm for those long throws that come up sometimes."

"Sounds great Onan. Well put you on the schedule."

"Thank you Mr. Mosley."
