2062.64 Adirondack 2062 Season Recap

Post by Krathan » Mon Apr 07, 2025 4:14 pm

The Adirondack Beavers finished the 2062 season with a record of 42-34, finishing in third place in the Big Islands Division, 4 games behind the top team. This was 3.5 games worse than the 2061 season. Adirondack made it all the way to the championship series, where they were swept by the Daytona Beach Cruisers. The Beavers were 10th in runs scored in the league and 6th in runs allowed.

POSITION PLAYER OF THE YEAR:

Last year's winner was Boguslaw Kotas, who played quite well in Danville this year. He stole 24 bases and led the team with 2.6 WAR.

The 2062 winner is Salman Tamir. The 22 year old right fielder slashed .290/.359/.413 with 13 doubles, 6 home runs, and 30 RBI in 76 games.

PITCHER OF THE YEAR:

Last year's winner was RHSP John Curtis, who pitched decently again this year. But was overshadowed by others. There were several compelling candidates for this year's award.

The 2062 winner is this year's 1st round draft pick, Emilio Carrillo. Carrillo unfortunately had his season cut short when he left a game in mid-August with elbow inflammation. Prior to the injury, Carrillo started 8 games for the Beavers, going 3-2 with an ERA of 0.59 in 46 innings. He had a FIP- of 58 and 1.4 WAR.
