Qing-lai Ou-yang had his consecutive scoreless appearance streak snapped as he allowed 3 runs on 2 home runs in 1.2 innings to pick up his first loss of the season.

Ben Graybill came to the plate with the bases loaded in both the 4rd and 5th innings. He doubled to center to drive in 3 in the 3rd, and doubled to center again to drive in 2 more in the 5th.

Antonio Santiago got the win despite allowing 6 hits, 2 walks, and 2 home runs in 5 innings. He is now 2-1.

Every Flyers batter had at least 1 hit in the game.

Game 5 at Montreal:

Samuel Nebraska had allowed at least 4 runs in all but one of his first 7 starts of the season. He held Charlotte to just 2 runs on 5 hits in 6 innings in this game.

Felipe Cummings retired the first 9 batters he faced, and 12 of the first 13. Then he struggled through the 5th, allowing 2 runs, and left the game with a man on base who scored after Jameel Khanum entered the game.

Tsuyoshi Mori gave up a home run to the first batter he faced, which was the first run he had allowed in 3 BBA appearances this season. He then proceeded to pitch 2 innings without allowing another run.

Game 6 at Montreal:

Dallas Dixon had 4 hits in the game.

The Flyers scored 3 runs in the 2nd inning, with all 3 runs scoring on extra base hits, a Jose Vargas triple, and doubles by Dixon and Natta.
