Hall of Fame Candidate Thread: Roberto Ramos

Post by RonCo » Tue Aug 28, 2018 9:08 am

Here's the place to talk about the career of: Roberto "Chappy" Ramos
Image
Starting Pitcher

Active Career: 2021-2034 (14 seasons)
188-143, 3.87 ERA, 2956 IP, 2073 K 1.23 WHIP, 46.6 WAR
3-Time All-Star

Hall of Fame Metrics: (average HoF)
JAWS: 44.4 (72)
Black Ink: 23 (34)
Gray Ink: 112 (162)
HOF Standards: 62 (49)
HOF Monitor: 39 (125)
# At 14 seasons, Ramos's career was a bit shorter than others in the class, making his counting a little more slight than they might have been. Still, he struck out 2,000 and got up there close to 200 wins. Led the league in wins in 2029 and 2032, and ERA in 2032. Led the league in Innings pitched twice, and was a dependable workhorse, toughing out north of 200 innings all but two seasons.

This guy was drafted by Madison so he has that going for him. I also traded him away for what appears to be nothing basically which seems to be my trend.
