Re: LBC Changing Minor League Affiliate - 10 PP

Thanks. I'm planning to write an article, but it's a great city+nickname combo; Commerce has a large railyard, with strong connection to the port of Long Beach.

LBC Changing Minor League Affiliate - 10 PP

I wanted to do this a while ago, but someone decided to use the name for a BBA team before I had the chance. Thanks to recent movement, the nickname is now available. Commerce Yard Goats, AAA, Rupert Horn Memorial League Stadium: The Citadel Dimensions (matches LBC's stadium): LL-330-4ft LF-360-8ft ...

Re: Crowdsourcing my protect list

🤔 why not all 1-10 or 20/80? Is their history behind that? not sure if OOTP allows 1-10 for overalls. There's been a fair amount of changes to the ratings settings recently, probably worth searching around a bit. And check this post from sjshaw: http://montybrewster.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=...

Re: BBA Images Pack (Installation and Instructions)

For the team logos, the file here is named "logos" but will have to be renamed to "team_logos" for OOTP to recognize it properly.

Re: Crowdsourcing my protect list

One guy you are protecting has a 12 rating - but for example Joe Whittaker has a changeup rating as an 11 - which is what got me to thinking. He’s an overall 65 rating - which again I’m a bit confused if it’s a scale of ratings 1-10 where does the 65 overall rating come from? Does the league use a ...

Re: Nashville moves bonus funds

Accounted 12 PPT, leaving open for @aaronweiner Ok, not to be that guy, but how is this only 12 PP? 10PP/$1M puts it at 120 for the cash, plus another 8 for the budget, unless I'm reading the reward wrong. Please help me understand this. Doesn't look like he's creating cash from PP, just moving cas...

Re: Crowdsourcing my protect list

Looking at the league settings post - the ratings are 1-10 - looking at some of the player profiles that NO is leaving unprotected they have ratings of 11 or 12. How does that happen? we have setting set to display actuals that are greater than max. OOTP allows for players to have ratings above any...

Re: 2040, Rule 6 Draft

Even if ultimately he signs with someone else? Interesting. Might want to consider re-looking at that rule going forward. Seems like the gaining team should be the one to lose the player. Yeah, but it's the drafting team that causes the loss. And the drafting team who "buys" the topping rights. Tec...

Yes they become free agents and anyone can bid for their services, with the drafting team retaining rights to match any contract they sign.

Simpson asking more than you want? Thinking it's time to move on? Hard to imagine him not in LB. It's really weird. And CarGo to. These are the guys I built my team around when I first came into the league, and we had some pretty good teams. Gonna have to accept that they won't be around forever at...

2039.06 - The Long Beach Independent - Surfers Finish in 5th Place at 81-81

.500 MEANS LAST PLACE IN TOUGH FLP 81-81 WOULD HAVE BEEN 2ND PLACE IN HEARTLAND September 30, 2039 Long Beach, CA A mid-September surge provided brief hope of a playoff run, but the Surfers fell short of the playoffs for just the third time since 2028. The 81-81 record means that they still have no...

GOMEZ, CHAVARRIA EARN THEIR KEEP September 30, 2039 Long Beach, CA As we look back on a disappointing season from the Surfers, we'd like to highlight a couple of bright young players that provided unexpected contributions this season. Re: 2039.03 - The Long Beach Independent - Should Simpson Be Dealt?

His demands fluctuated from very reasonable to way out of my budget over the course of the season. Probably would have signed him for cheap if I didn't have the $22M CargGo TO blocking the budget. I'm not sure how hard I'll go after him, it'll depend on how the expansion draft goes, and what the FA ...
