Re: Limiting # of votes allowed per owner for HOF

Your going to get pitchforked lol. I'm impartial to this because I'll never vote for 10 anyhow. Atleast its very unlikely unless something massive were to happen in one offseason for retirements. I think that a limit is good in many situations, but in online leagues there are other dynamics that co...

Re: Limiting # of votes allowed per owner for HOF

In our world, voting for everyone is a way of saying: I don't have time right now to do a good job, so I'll leave it to you guys. Actively voting for everyone does not hurt anyone's chance. Not voting costs you two PPT. What we need to do is add a candidate called "No one" so you can still send a ba...

Re: What am I missing Here?

Not to be that guy, but why do you care about his arb at all? He's a poor bat who plays bad D at 2B. He's 26, so chances are he's not getting better. I'd let him play out his 500k's and cut bait. ...unless you're making a general 'Arbs are high' statement, which is fair enough in this particular in...

Re: Comparing 1st and 2nd place from 2035-2040 Sawyer Silk Award Winners.(Yes another Emilio Morales thread)

I think Morales's 2035 case is pretty strong--though a bigger chunk of his WAR came defensively. His wOBA was stronger, and his OPS+ (which is supposed to be somewhat Park Adjusted) was better. Gillstrom has a big name benefit, though. It probably didn't hurt Gillstrom's case that he helped his team...

Team Trainers: What Are They Good For?

Admit I love a good sushi, and I suppose Vancouver's is pretty good. Better than Phoenix's, but then Phoenix leaves theirs out in the desert sun to bake a bit before serving.

Not a problem at all. One reason I listed Tim's post was that it included Eric and the root of the franchise.

The Lone AB of Bernardo Sanchez

He’d been called up four days ago. Sat the bench in Chicago, which was a town he wouldn’t mind getting to know so long as he could stay upwind of what the guys called Pig Slop Park. Then he’d packed like a real big leaguer and hopped on the plane to Seattle, the next stop on the road trip. Sitting o...
