Charm City 2064.2 - Jimmies Hook A Bass

The Charm City Jimmies announced that Craig Bass has been named as the new manager of the franchise. Bass comes over after serving as the bench coach for the Chicago Black Sox since 2057. Prior to working as the bench coach for the Black Sox he was the manager for their AAA team the Rockford Bulldogs in 2056 where he led the team to a 79-65 record. "We saw the trajectory Chicago has taken the last few seasons. Craig has been a big part of turning that franchise around and we're excited to work with him in 2064 and beyond" said Assistant GM Erwijn Pellenaars.

It's rumored that the managerial position came between Bass and the organization's manager for the A ball Cumberland Miners Julián Rangel. It's said that Bass won out because he gives the organization a new voice from the outside and also his age. Managment was disappointed, but understood why they were only able to have former manager Jimmy Días around for 4 years. They're hoping Bass will allow them to have a steady presence in the organization for a long time.

The Jimmies are still speaking with personnel for the pitching coach positions at AA and Rookie levels.
