Felipe Delgado
The 38-year-old Delgado is highly regarded for his framing skills, a high priority for the Blazers organization. Last season with the Yellow Springs Nine, he accrued 17.7 framing runs in 112 starts, which ranked fifth among Frick League catchers. As the short side of the platoon with Calvin Johnson, it is unlikely that he will make that many starts this season, but the Blazers pitching staff will benefit from the framing skill of its catchers. He replaces Juan Villa, who hitting last season was a concern.

Michel Noël
The 39-year-old Noel replaces Jose Leyva as the team's center fielder versus southpaws. He will platoon with the left-handed John Oliver. Even though he's approaching 40, Noel still possesses his trademark speed; he's a threat to steal anytime that he reaches base.
