The biggest change I would like to see would be the raising of the UMEBA's reputation a few weeks before our ST so we can get a few new signings in to play a full spring camp

Ron will be the only one that will get the Ron Gant reference.
Thanks for reminding me of my extreme hatred for Kent Hrbek.
I get the Gant reference. As a Twins fan, I love Hrbek more for the double play in Game 7.

I actually like having the BBA guys sometimes turning us down. Of course, maybe I'm thinking that the UMEBA is this world's version of Nippon Professional Baseball or the KBO.

Expansion for the UMEBA? We only have one vacancy at the moment and two extra teams would certainly spice the league. As a GM developmental league we can always carry a few auto-control vacancies as applicants are pretty frequent.

Worth a try lol, like to keep the pot bubbling. If Matt hears “UMEBA expansion” often enough he might believe he sanctioned it :D

Matt can never do enough lol. We’re like eight baby birds (or seven at the moment) sitting in a nest screaming away because daddy bird hasn’t been along in the last two minutes and fed us

I am considering a two team expansion for UMEBA after the season.

I imagine that there can be a narrative reason for expansion. Maybe attendance has been great, and teams can upgrade with the sweet expansion fees that new franchises will pay to the governing board?

The narrative probably is that the league is so successful that so many people want to join it. The BBA managers aren’t turning over so we have to have somewhere to put them lol.

If you see the rise in the league since its inception in 2037 it’s almost inevitable that it would expand at some stage

If you did a back story it would imo have to be about something like prestige, vanity etc. Reason being attendances are up and down in the UMEBA, the money there making would be peanuts to most middle East businessmen specially as some would have oil money behind them unless oils dried up :)
