GAME OF THE WEEK: The Spuds won three times in a four-game series at home against Twin Cities, punctuated by an 11-4 victory on August 1st. Down 4-0 to the River Monsters after just three innings, Boise's offense rose to the occasion, cutting the lead in half in the 4th inning with solo home runs by Dennis French and Allan MacHugh. Then in the sixth inning, the Spuds scored six times to take the lead for good, helped by a grand slam by French against Twin Cities All-Star reliever Lorenzo de' Medici. Boise tacked on three more insurance runs in the 8th inning and Félix Alvarado recorded a seven-out save to close the game.
