kind of what I figured with playing the top two talented teams in the JL, Omaha and Brooklyn, and then Atlantic city...3-6 not too terrible

The Nine managed to take 3 of 4 on the Road in Hawaii, and used a dramatic 2-run homer from Pete McClure to take 2 of 3 from studly Omaha, but can't seem to get past Birmingham.

I should note that I'm 8-10 without any of my key performers doing at all well at this point, so I guess that's lucky?

I was thinking the same thing. Very cool.

Swept in four by Seattle, then sweep three against Montreal and take the first 2/3 of a series against Halifax.

Those Seattle games were ugly, but I'll take the winning sim and first in the FLA.

Also, Rodriguez remains a monster. Through four starts he has a WHIP of 0.82 and an ERA of 1.29. Is this the year of Ignacio?

Those news items are on the same day. No HTML for me to look at, but I'm assuming he set the record of 19, then broke it with his 20th in the same game.

Oh. Shit. Well, 20 strikeouts is still pretty cool. But not as cool as I thought.

He struck out 20 in 7 and 2/3rds innings.
So of 23 batters retired, he struck out 20.
That's like pretty awesome.

If I had access to the file, I'd make a copy, recreate Steve Nebraska in the EBA, and see how many 27 K games he'd get in one season

That's all my fault. I have him on a 125 pitch count. He has plenty of stamina, but I always worry about not having a pitch count and having it get away in a game and causing problems.

I have zero confidence in my team. I think my record is just dumb luck, so I'm not too excited.
