SP Nick Machiavelli
2-0 with a 1.59 ERA in 17 IP. Machiavelli is having a superb season. I'd like to think that my infusion of young arms has excited some of my vets and they are pitching lights out.

Batter of the sim:
2B Bernard Maselli
.423 avg in 26 AB's. He is having a fanstastic season.

Finally! A nice 7-2 sim for me including a 4 game sweep of Valencia. Climbed out of the cellar of the pacific division. Oscar Funke is having a fantastic rookie season. He currently has the 2nd best starter ERA in the Johnson League. Len Cortese has 26 saves already and has proved to be a fantastic addition to the pen along with outstanding reliever Pedro Martinez. I'm still pondering making a move at 3rd base and could use some relief help.
