Accolades: Played on the Southern Alberta Bantam Football Championship Brooks Roadrunners team of 2006!
How would your friends describe you: Unbearably handsome.
Favorite Sports Moment: I cheer exclusively for losing losers who lose, so there haven't been a lot of moments of pure joy from sports for me. The Oilers beating the Red Wings in the first round of 2006 (and going all the way to Game 7 of the Cup Finals) is definitely up there though.
Favorite Sports Movie: Moneyball
Favorite MLB Team: Cubs
Favorite MLB Player: I actually really like Emilio "Bonerface" Bonifacio
Favorite NFL Team: Denver Broncos, though only nominally.

One place in the World you would like to visit: I'd love to see a home game in the stadium of every team I support. Living in Canada means you usually back an assortment of farflung teams that you rarely get to see.
GM "Style": I've lived through too many RL rebuilds to be willing to live through them online too. I'm all about retooling on the fly and spending every season trying to squeeze every last ounce of baseball out of the pieces I've got. Tomorrow will worry about itself, as they say.
Why do you love online baseball? I've been inventing imaginary leagues, teams, players and narratives for as long as I can remember. I'd buy the latest sports games just to play in GM mode and sim all the games because that's my kind of thing. OOTP and legitimately active and competitive leagues like MBBA blew the pants right off me the minute I found out they existed.

GM "Style": I tend to build my team in a certain vision which always includes a strong farm system and see how that goes.
Why do you love online baseball? Many of my teenage years were spent criticizing and calling for Jim Hendry's head and saying "I can do better than that clown" and this is how I attempt to prove that to myself.

GM "Style": Pitching and Defense, but will stray away from Dayton Moore/Ned Yost model and try to get BIG bats too! I think I can be a risk taker, I guess I will learn if that's true or not!!
Why do you love online baseball? helps understand all the numbers of the game and develop more ways to look at the REAL game and players, and gives me a chance to pretend I am a GM with more to worry about than just performance of players; and this way if I ever call into a radio show bashing Royals management I can say "well this is what I've done with my team, so why wouldn't it work with the Royals!!"
