On the Diamond Vol. 9 1997

Pitcher of the sim:
SP Nick Machiavelli
3-0 with a 2.25 ERA in 24 IP. Pretty solid.

Batter of the sim:
1B Clement Troutt
.450 AVG with 4 HR and an OPS over 1.300 Huzzah!

A nice 7-3 sim. Its septemeber callup time and I really don"t know what to do. I have 3 starters in AAA who may just make the rotation next season. They sure could use a shot at the majors now. However I have veteran guys who are on hotstreaks and with another month of pitching may just make better trade bait. Sure is a difficult decision to make.

Nice turnaround from Machiavelli after some struggles in the middle of the season.

Machiavelli has been a bit of an enigma. I thought he was on his way out of baseball. Nice season he's had.

Can't say that I miss him, though I guess I'd take half the league over Damian Bedgood this year.

The previous impact of Machiavelli.

YEah, Porter is a nice consolation for losing Nick.
