Jake Urban is going to be a beast. His power is coming along, in a big way, and his numbers have exploded of late. I hate to say it, but I just fucking love my offense. The kicker is, he's also played errorless defense all season. His range factor isn't great, but he's as surehanded as we could ask for this season, so far. Urban is leading the club in two of the three Triple Crown categories, and is on his way towards a breakout sophomore season.
The MBBA Atlantic is really heating up. Our worst sim of the year (5-5) opened the door for red hot Washington to take a .5 game lead, and we've got the Sluggers right on our tails. Our efforts to find a catcher cooled off, after we sent what we thought was a solid offer for a premier player. We need to redouble those attempts, and bring some offense in there. We're also watching Icon very closely; when he's been good, he's been great, but otherwise, he's been terrible. His 6.33 ERA is worst on the Starting Staff, and he might be pitching himself into the bullpen. Bloviator is just begging for a shot.
Down on the farm, Roman Empire is starting to hit some AA pitching, and we are hopeful that he will be in AAA by the end of the year. His contact skills are already big league caliber, but we are probably looking at a long climb for his power. Similar to Urban, he might not become a 30 HR threat until he's reached the big leagues. We are comfortable with waiting a while longer to find out, however. He's an absolute stud.

I think yuo have to give Bloviator a shot at this point. I'm not a big Icon fan.
