Moonstruck, 2007-7: Landis Cup
The first visit to the playoffs for Greenville in 8 season brings them knocking on the door of the biggest prize in the MBWBA, The Landis Memorial Series. "It's just plum exciting" Said long time Moonshiner Bill Burkholder. Burkholder has struggled a bit in the playoffs but he hopes to have a big series against Des Moines. As for rookie Austin Greene, he can't believe he's here. "It's awesome!" He said, "I have to make sure that the hype doesn't get to me." He continued. Greene was the MVP of the Cartwright Cup batting .450 with 2 homeruns and 11 RBI's. Meanwhile, the Kernels (whom by the way given their name by Jeff Kloes back in the NACBA days) will face David Schuster in Game 1. Schuster has been fantastic, and if the Moonshiners win the Landis, Schuster will be ultimately be the MVP of the playoffs for Greenville (fyi, should have been the top vote getter for the SN award too, But the owners voted on that). "I never thought I'd get here." Said the 37 year old rigthtie. "It's what i've always worked toward. Mack Milholm and Lucas Bacher will also face Kernels in the series, both have been lights out this postseason. Either way the entire organization is excited about tonight live sim at 10 PM EST.

Correction, it will be Lucas Bacher starting game 1, Milholm, then Schuster.
