Top ten. 4-7 anyway. Probably because outfield defense still isn't what i want it to be but it's early yet.

I did make an effort to improve my defense this year, but this is slightly ridiculous.

I just switched back to my last season's outfield alignment. Blair Peyton can't hang in CF, Cano Jr is totally washed up and Chao Yuan is still a DH even if he thinks he can play CF.

Small sample size but 3rd place is making me so happy even if we're 2 wins lower than I wanted to be right now (10-11 instead of 12-9).
My plan to upgrade outfield defense is working.

Smart move keeping Hartman. Looks like he is about to enter his prime.

It was a very hard call because as I noted elsewhere, my minors need a good re-stocking. But he's the key to any success we're going to have in what I feel is a legitimate 3 year window before I don't have enough talent to keep it going.

The gap between the top three and the rest is interesting. Same with the bottom two.

Ron, now that we have multiple seasons of this, have you done any looking at the LD numbers, to see if there's any correlation to the GB/FB?

If it weren’t for the bad luck on infield line drives we’d be right there with the top three.

Looking at the top and bottom, well...It's at least a fun little process. For example:
Cape Fear (18-18), Yellow Springs (17-19) and Sacramento (16-20) are absolutely the elite defensive teams to date. If you add their records, you get 51-57 ... six games below .500.
Rosenblatt (18-18) and Portland (17-18) are by far the stinkiest defensive teams in the league. Add their records and you get 35-36 ... one game below .500.
So hmmm.
