He is a tough one. Once he losses his defense, he is going to fall hard. But you're going to have to give him 6 years just to talk to his agent. So I can see some teams shying away. But there are also a lot of teams he would look really good on. He will get paid and paid big.

With the parity we are seeing someone will get Ackerman and pay a pretty penny. The question a lot of guys are going to be asking is are we going to risk going all in?

I think his days of 5+ WAR are over but he should get close the next few seasons before falling off a cliff. I think he'll command a slightly higher AAV than his last contract.He's still a good up the middle defender with power.
