The Mexico City Aztecs have completed a trade with Yellow Springs:

Mexico City sends Los Cabos Corsairs (AAA) RP - Pedro Padilla in exchange for Cat Island Pirates (S A) SP - Sergio García

Mexico is preparing for the R5 draft and had no room for Padilla nor was he in our immediate future plans. We dealt him to YS9 for minor league pitching depth and leadership for the misfits in Council Bluffs.

Sorry, all my insight went into the big Vegas trade. This was nothing more than I couldn’t protect Padilla from R5 and he wasn’t getting promoted to Mexico City anytime soon so dealt him for minor league pitching and leadership. I’ll update the post
