2065-2 Award Winners

Well it was an interesting year, as no Mountie is taking home a golden bat or diamond glove this year. But two major awards did get won!

Vancouver takes home their second Jason Egan Award in three years as Serge Elovsky was selected as the Frick League's best reliever after a fantastic season. Hey I technically called it in my 2062 First Round Pick preview of him! He finished the year with 39 saves, a 1.91 ERA, 80 Ks to 20 BBS, and 2.1 WAR all in 70 innings pitched. The 23-year-old still has one year of a league minimum contract before arbitration hits next year.

The other award winner goes to.. well me. Very humbled and honored to win the GM of the Year award for the Frick among such an elite group of GMs. This comes after I lead Vancouver to it's first division title in 12 years as well as finishing with the best record in the Frick for the first time in franchise history. I don't have a speech, but thank you.

Honorable mention to Juan Garcia for finishing third in Steve Nebraska voting.
