2064-15: Talons Announce Closure of All Nationwide Denny's Locations And Subaru Dealerships for Day of Celebration

America will wake up this morning to one less breakfast option.

All nationwide Denny's locations, as well as all Subaru dealerships, have closed today and their workers given the day off with double pay in celebration of the Talons' first ever BBA Championship. The Talons' Reclusive GM was reached via Discord this morning and had this to say:

"I woke up to a bunch of notifications, so I figured something good happened! As you know, when the Smelter calls, it calls for thee, so we had to do what we had to do. But, even though we had some equipment problems, we did eventually get our billion dollar ore processing plant up and running yesterday.

"It was so crazy that by the time I got home I just crashed. Even missed that other baseball game last night, which I also hear was epic in its own right. But I just want to say thanks to all who were pulling for us, and thanks to all of our worthy opponents in the post season, especially the Bluebirds. To be the ones who defeated the 'evil' empire is especially rewarding!

"Therefore, we have been working with our loyal sponsors Denny's and Subaru and we are providing double pay to all their employees and giving everyone the day off in celebration. It's the least we could do," the GM said.
